Hello and welcome back to another day of the Blue Knight Stamps Design Team Red, White & Blue Challenge!
Today we're sharing Nancy's wonderful challenge card, created with the HOT AIR BALLOON stamp set, the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and a sentiment from the GOD BLESS AMERICA stamp set.
Nancy colored the hot air balloon images with pencils and created the cloudy background with the Blue Knight Stamps Select PanPastel Day & Night Palette
Nancy's choice of classic red and blue matting are the ideal for this card.
We think that Nancy's Hot Air Balloon card is perfect for the DT Red, White & Blue Challenge and we hope that it's inspired you to create a Red, White & Blue card of your own!
You can find the Cloud Stencil and each of the stamps that Nancy used to create today's card HERE, at the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps web store.

DT Red, White & Blue Challenge Week with Lynn
Lynn is not only at the heart of all that happens at Blue knight, but she is a passionate stamper and card maker who has a love of creating wonderful backgrounds and colored images with PanPastels.
Lynn has joined us this week for the DT Challenge and we're happy to share her wonderful card with you!
This fabulous card rises to the occasion and is ideal for this week's challenge in both it's appearance and the spirit of Red, White and Blue
Lynn created the background colors with Blue Knight Select PanPastel Color Palettes and added wonderful fireworks details behind her stamped and "fussy cut" SHIP WITH CLOUDS image.
(Where are the clouds, you're asking?....Well, Lynn chose to only use the Ship and water part of the image for this card...so that she could add the fireworks behind the ship.)
Lynn assures us that this fabulous card was a cinch to create and she made sure to emphasize that the red white and blue background literally took a few minutes to create with just a few swipes of PanPastel color.
We hope that this wonderful card has inspired you to take on this challenge and that you find time to create a red white and blue card of your own!
You'll find the SHIP with CLOUDS stamp HERE.....and BLUE KNIGHT SELECT PanPastel PALETTES HERE, at the Blue Knight web store.

DT Red, White & Blue Challenge with Michelle
Hell friends!
Michelle , DT Coordinator here...and today I'm happy to join the Design Team for this week's Red, White & Blue Challenge!
I was happy to use this challenge as inspiration for inking up my OLD GLORY stamp and the THANK YOU HERO stamp set
(*THANK YOU HERO can be found HERE ...and Old Glory can be found HERE at the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps web store HERE.
I knew that I wanted to use Blue Knight Stamps Select PanPastel Color Palettes and a resist technique to color the image...
I also wanted a bit of an aged distressed look....
(*Blue Knight's PanPastel Palettes can be seen HERE)
I kept these things about stamping and coloring in mind as I set out to create this card for the Red, White and Blue Challenge...
And ...this is what I wound up with...
I was happy with the bleed of color beyond the image lines....
and the sentiment is ideal for this large Old Glory image, I think.
I've got details about how I created this card, from start to finish, over at my blog... HERE
Thanks for visiting today!
Be sure to check in here at the Blue Knight blog again tomorrow to see what Kat has whipped up for this week's Red, White & Blue DT Challenge

Cowgirl and Cowboy with Special Guest Designer Deanna
Deanna has the magic touch when it comes to PanPastels, and today's card showcases her talents wonderfully.
Deanna used a combinations of Blue Knight Select PanPastel Palette colors to create this magnificent sky as the background for the COWGIRL and COWBOY silhouette stamp.
To finish the card, Deanna added images from the BIRDS II stamp set.
We're feeling WOWED by Deanna's card and we're guessing that you are feeling WOWED too!
Creating backgrounds like the one Deanna has created for this card is possible for card makers who create at all levels from beginner to very accomplished, with the BK Select PanPastel Color Palettes.
PanPastels are easy to use and are very forgiving which makes using them and creating the look that you want very easy.

PanPastel Inspiration with Michelle: Creating a Stamped PanPastel Background
HI Everyone!
Michelle here, Blue Knight DT Coordinator, and today I've got a PanPastel card making project to share with you.
I also combined the PanPastel background pieces with the KIND WORDS BOUQUET and ONCE IN A LIFETIME stamp sets to create this card.
I've been on a PanPastel kick lately....
Creating landscape cards...scenes...skies of all sorts...floral cards...and so much more.
I've been experimenting with my PanPastels, creating all sort of looks with all sorts of techniques on all sorts of cards.
For today's card, I wanted to focus on blending colors to create a muted multi-colored background, with a stamped overlay.
This card was fun...and easy to create and allowed me the opportunity to explore color blending possibilities, which always excited me, whether it be with markers or ink....
I thought that I'd share a little photo-tutorial with you today, so that you could see how this card came together..
To see the step by step tutorial...visit my blog, Bellissima Cards HERE
You can find a select collection of PanPastels and individual PanPastel colors along with today's featured stamps (Kind Words Bouquet and Once in a Lifetime) at the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps web store HERE

More Precious Than Rubies Inspiration with Kat
Together, or separately, the stamped elements create truly lovely cards.
The floral image can stand alone if stamped once on a card front but is also versatile in it's ability to be used as edge and border images, when inked up and stamped more than once to create a card design.
Kat's created card shows us how lovely this stamp is when stamped twice on a card front to create a top and bottom border. She added color to the image and background with Zig markers and Distress Oxide ink(s).
We think that all of Kat's creative choices come together beautifully to make this card simply fantastic!
Kat has more to share about how she created today's card , so be sure to visit her at her blog HERE to get all of the details.
You can also browse the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps web store HERE, here you'll find the More Precious Than Rubies stamp set

Wooded Farmland: Autumn Inspiration with Shirley
Hello friends!
Today we're sharing a card created by Shirley, with the Wooded Farmland stamp.
Shirley created a lovely Autumn-like card by adding Fall colors to this beautifully detailed stamped image. She finished the card with a sentiment from the Best Wishes stamp set.
We love that Shirley has created 2 cards with different looks with this stamp.
Last week, her Wooded Farmland card was more Spring/Summer -like, with lots or green foliage and a pop of red with her addition of a tractor from the Tractor stamp set.
Here's another peek Shirley's Wooded Farmland card that was featured here, at the blog, last week
Considering versatile possibilities and different looks that can be created with one stamp simply by changing the color palette is always a wonderful way to explore your own creativity.
Shirley has done that with her take(s) on the Wooded Farmland stamp.
Be sure to visit Shirley's blog HERE, to read more about how she created this week's Wooded Farmland card.
You 'll find the Wooded Farmland stamp at the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps web store, HERE

Floral Inspiration from Kren
Today we're sharing a beautiful card from DT member, Kren.
Kren's card was created with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps beautiful Corner Flowers stamp set, and combines water coloring, die cutting and fussy cutting.
Kren also incorporated velum into her card design for an overlay that reveals beautifully colored flowers beneath the sheer layer of vellum
Kren is featuring this lovely card over at her blog today, so be sure to visit her HERE for more details about how she created this Corner Flowers card!
Corner Flowers is a wonderful stamp for those of you who enjoy Copic coloring that includes lots of color blending. It's large petals and stamp detail both give you lots of stamp "space" for coloring and blending.
And...if you enjoy water coloring....Corner Flowers is fantastic for heat embossing and water coloring as well.
You can find the Corner Flowers stamp HERE, at the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps web site.
We'll see you tomorrow, when our June Guest Designer, Tracy, shares her very first Blue Knight Stamps Guest Designer card with us!
Be prepared to say....WOW!

The web store will be offering 2 brand new Blue Knight selected color palettes of PanPastel Ultra Soft Artists Painting Pastels.
PanPastel Colors are professional artists’ quality soft pastel colors packed in a unique pan format (in other words, they're cake-like).
The special qualities of PanPastel Colors mean that artists can blend and apply dry color like fluid paint, yet they are dry, and this means that they require no drying time.
(*Perfect for card makers like us!)
We love that PanPastel is a very forgiving medium to use, and you'll be able to use any eraser to correct mistakes or remove the color.
Something that allows us to create neat...clean..tidy cards with no color bleeding or smudging!
