VIDEO TUTORIAL: Creating Easy, Fast Beautiful Backgrounds with Blue Knight Select PanPastel Palettes

Hello Everyone!

Michelle here....Design Team Coordinator for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

The Blue Knight DT has had a great month of creating projects with the July New Release stamps and I'll be wrapping the month up with a full week of New release projects at my blog...from July 24th thru July 31st.
I'd like to invite you to follow along each day, as I share a series of cards created with each of the July New Release stamps. As always, when I do a "Blue Knight Week" at my blog...I'll have a giveaway.
So be sure to follow along and leave a comment  at my blog each day. You'll get one giveaway entry for each daily comment.

Right now though...and for the next few days... Blue Knight's owner Lynn and I...would like to share some info...projects and videos to introduce you to Blue Knight Select PanPastels.
(Yes, you guessed it...Lynn and I are totally smitten with PanPastels!)

I've been enjoying using both of the Blue Knight PanPastel Palettes...and it seems that no  matter what I create...or how I experiment...PanPastels have never disappointed me

All of this PanPastel love from Lynn and I means that today, tomorrow and Tuesday the BK blog will be dedicated to sharing information with you about creating...coloring and using PanPastels.

We hope that you'll be inspired to expand your coloring horizons after seeing what we have to share!
We think that you're going to love seeing PanPastels in action...seeing and learning a few tips and tricks...and learning about just how easily and wonderfully PanPastels are for adding color to your stamped images...and creating background color.

Today, in my video...I'll introduce you to both of Blue Knight's Select PanPastel Palettes....I've got a stack of samples to share of backgrounds that I created...I'll do some explaining... and some demonstrating...and I'm thinking that in the end...you'll be loving PanPastels as much as Lynn and I do!

HALF BOUQUET: July New Release Inspiration with Kren

We're happy to bring you some wonderful July new Release inspiration again today, with Kren's HALF BOUQUET card!

We always love and appreciate Kren's dedication to detail and today's HALF BOUQUET card showcases Kren's  talents and skills beautifully.

Kren chose a beautiful color palette for the bouquet image and paired it up with the sentiment from the GOOD MORNING ROOSTER stamp set.
For texture, Kren included an embossed mat layer and some impeccable fussy cutting.

THANK YOU WREATH: July New Release Inspiration with Nancy

Hello again and welcome back to the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps blog where we're sharing lots of July new release inspiration throughout the month!

PRAYER FLOWER: July New Release Inspiration with Kren

It's hard to believe that for a little more than 3 weeks we've filled the Blue Knight blog with with what seems like an endless amount of July new release inspiration from our Design Team!
It's been 3+ weeks of sharing projects that all began with 7 wonderful new release stamps that led our Design Team to pull out the stops on their creativity day after day!

Nancy, Kat, Shirley and Kren have wowed us with so many wonderful cards since the first of the month and beginning on (July 24th) , Michelle...our DT Coordinator will dedicate a full week of card making, over at her blog, to our July new release! She'll feature a new release stamp project each day and will have a great Giveaway at the end of the week!

Kren created a beautiful water colored card with the PRAYER FLOWER stamp set.
White heat embossing, water coloring, die cutting, fussy cutting and dotted satin English ribbon from TheRibbonPlace all came together wonderfully to create this beautiful card.
We love the color palette that Kren chose when making this card.

We've got some floral new release inspiration to share with you today, from Kat, who created today's card with the THANK YOU WREATH stamp set.

Kat created today's card by starting out with some heat embossing and a blue and brown color palette. She added ribbon from TheRibbonPlace, embossing and embellishing to finish the card along with some paper layering and the sentiment from the THANK YOU WREATH stamp set.

DAISIES and ROSES: July new Inspiration with Shirley

The Design Team continues to wow us with their beautiful July new release projects, and today, we're happy to bring you a bright, bold beautiful card created by Shirley, with the new release DAISIES and ROSES stamp set

Shirley chose lots of rich bright color for her DAISIES and ROSES card. Her choice to add a bold pop of red to this beautifully colored image along with red matting make this card striking and crisp looking!
Shirley added some dotted English ribbon from TheRibbonPlace and a sentiment from Blue Knight's BIBLE VERSES 2 stamp set, to finish her card.

TITUS the GREAT ADVENTURER: July New Release Inspiration with Nancy

We have a wonderful July new release card to share with you today, created by DT member Nancy, with our TITUS the GREAT ADVENTURER stamp!

We love how Nancy colored this wonderful image of Titus, as he ventures beyond the garden gate to begin an adventure!

Nancy added a wonderful assortment of colors to bring life to this fantastic card front sized scene image. She created a beautiful sky and added colored details and shading to each element of this detailed scene and finished the card with the sentiment that is part of the TITUS the GREAT ADVENTURER stamp set.

We think that you'll be loving Nancy's TITUS the GREAT ADVENTURER card as much as we do!

CHICKADEE: New Release Inspiration with Kren

We can't get enough of our new release Chickadee stamp an it seems that the CHICKADEE stamp has been very popular with the BKRS Design Team as well!
Today, we're back to share some more CHICKADEE inspiration from Kren!

Kren added background color to  to her card with BLUE KNIGHT SELECT PanPastel COLOR PALETTES and then combines some die cutting, dotted ribbon from The RibbonPlace and a sentiment from the PRAYER FLOWER stamp set (another July new release stamp set)
Kren stamped the CHICKADEE image over the PanPastel background and left it uncolored.

This is a fabulous technique for those of you who shy away from coloring images and those of you who need to create multiples/bulk numbers of the same card for the Holidays!

CHICKADEE: July New Release Inspiration with Nancy

It looks like our July New Release CHICKADEE is a Design Team favorite!

Yes!...Today, we've got our sweet little, easy-to-create-a-card-with CHICKADEE here on our blog again with Nancy's card and video tutorial.

Nancy created a soft colored background for her CHICKADEE card and colored the image in natural woodsy tones that gave the image a sketch like look. Nancy added a sentiment from the (new release) THANK YOU WREATH stamp set. She added some texture to her card with an embossed mat layer.

CHICKADEE: July New Release Inspiration with Kat

The Design Team is busy creating lots of wonderful new projects during this New Release Month!
Today, we're happy to share a beautiful card, created by Kat, with the new CHICKADEE stamp.

If you love creating your Holiday cards early, or create in multiples, this stamp is for you!
The CHICKADEE stamp has lots of detail and it's a breeze to color...which makes it a great image for creating multiples, like most of us, for Holiday cards.

Kat's added her own special touch to her card with angled corners, gold English ribbon from TheRibbonPlace and beautiful coloring.

We've been happy to share lots of Design Team new release month inspiration with you this month, and today, we're sharing a beautiful card, created by Shirley, with the HONEY BEE and SUNFLOWER stamp.

Shirley added bold beautiful coloring and shading to this large card front sized image. She paired the colored image with a sentiment from the BIBLE VERSES 2 stamp set , some die cutting, color coordinated matting and a little bit of bling to create today's card.
